Accepting an offer

Accepting an offer happens entirely on the topi Hosted Checkout, and is done entirely by the customer. This is what the order summary looks like after checkout has completed:

Order placed and is pending review

Risk review

After a customer completes checkout, topi initiates an automated risk review of the customer. If the customer is a returning customer (i.e. has checked out with topi before), then this process is usually skipped.

The outcome of this risk review determines whether an offer gets accepted or voided.

If successfully risk reviewed, topi accepts the customer's order and sends the offer.accepted and order.accepted webhooks to your configured URL. Then a binding offer according to the offered conditions (24m/36m) has been concluded.

At this point, topi is effectively offering to buy the device from the seller (i.e. you), which you can accept if the order can be fulfilled.

If the risk review is unsuccessful, topi sends a offer.voided webhook to your configured URL and an order declined email to the customer. No binding agreement is concluded.
