Services

You can bundle services with hardware into a single monthly price.

topi supports services directly associated with the device, including:

  1. OEM support services
  2. OEM warranty extension services
  3. OEM Mobile Device Management (MDM) services
  4. Seller and OEM staging and setup services

Include these services in your catalog and bill them upfront at fixed rates for the customer. topi then adds them to a monthly payment plan alongside the hardware.

A service as a standalone Seller product reference

Offering a service via topi works the same as offering hardware. Send it as a "product" with its own seller product reference in your catalog.

For example, if you offer a ComputerX laptop and ComputerX Premium Support, use 1 seller product reference for the laptop and 1 for the support service.

This way, when a customer builds an offer, they always see the correct prices from topi.

What topi needs to know about your services

To offer a service as a monthly subscription, the service must be in your seller catalog and billed upfront. When topi ingests your catalog, provide the following information.

  1. Product name/title
  2. Seller product reference
  3. The purchase price
  4. Who offers the service (e.g. Seller vs OEM)
  5. Type of service (e.g. support, warranty, extension services, MDM, staging, setup, training, software)
  6. Tenure of the service
  7. Payment type (e.g. one-off vs recurring)
  8. What Seller product reference number the service corresponds to
  9. Whether the service is a standalone Seller product reference number or included in a custom-to-order device
